BODY SCRUBS

Our body scrubs are also formulated with the best ingredients that are healthy for the skin. Body scrubs remove dead skin cells and provide various benefits: For one, they allow your skin to absorb moisturizers a lot better.

Dead skin cell buildup hinders any moisturizer being applied. Using our exfoliating salt or sugar scrubs after skin preparation (shower or bath) will soak moisturizer(s) into the skin more thoroughly.

 
Using our exfoliating salt or sugar scrubs will unclog pores and prevent ingrown hairs. As a general guideline, it's best to start off using body scrubs once per week, and then gradually increase to 3-4 times per week.

If you are new to exfoliation, first test on one part of your body. If you know that you have sensitive skin, it's best to talk to your dermatologist first.

 
Exfoliation can strip skin of moisture. It is imperative that you moisturize after using a body scrub to avoid micro-abrasions of the skin.

This just means that you need to replenish lost moisture after exfoliation. So, if you do not have a go-to body butter, now is the perfect time to invest in one, two, or three.
